Part of the goal of the Institute involves a variety of bridge building, including building links between ancient healing traditions and modern science. As such, we are keen on applying some of the tools of medical anthropology, Ayurveda, botany, and clinical herbalism to Amazonian, Andean, and Caribbean indigenous medicine.
