Based on countless regressions and recollections of past lives, it is assumed that each individual was created with a destiny that essentially takes an eternity to complete. Within each incarnation, a little progress is usually made but the proportion of events in life that occur because of karma versus those that are based on soul purposes varies according to which force dominates in any given situation.  On top of this, there is an ego that makes the critical choices.  Drawing attention to these dynamics helps many people to navigate life more consciously and deliberately.
